I’m Troy, and I’m a dreamer.
Work is my definition. When I was 6, I got my first job; I was a paper delivery boy for my neighborhood, and I haven’t stopped working since. At 15, I bought my first car, a custom Pontiac G6. Fresh at 18, I was a supervisor and shift manager at a local pet store. You might say work is in my blood.
Improving is my only goal. Currently, I’m a Film Student at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While I yearn to travel the country, Grand Valley is my home for four years. As of this year, I’m proud to call myself a professional freelancer in videography and photography.
I have an unhealthy obsession. An obsession for the mountains of Montana. Not a day goes by that the mountains escape my mind; I’m constantly homesick for a place I don’t even call home.
I dream of traveling. I dream of traveling the world with a film crew by my side, encasing the experiences and stories of people that have never been heard. I dream of sealing those experiences in a place untouched by time.
I’m a filmmaker at heart, a photographer by trade, and a film student on the side.
